Why do you watch videos in a loop?
I have a problem. But, I cannot be the only one. In a world where companies such as TikTok are valued at 250 billion dollars while educational value companies such as LinkedIn are valued at 1/10th that price, there has to be something in it. Wall street values Entertainment at 10 times the price of education.
OK, back to my problem. I sometimes loop through the same video multiple times. And, they are like junk videos on Facebook reels but in some cases, I find them irresistible. Why is that? It is like a bad jingle that gets stuck in your mind. I was curious if there are particular aspects of the mind that tend to make some people more vulnerable to playing videos in a loop? It can’t be an evolutionary thing because it is a recent phenomenon.
